I am a CPA with 10 years of accounting experience. I specialize in audits and reviews. My focus areas include nonprofit organizations, local governments, construction companies, and contractor license applications and renewals. However, I have a broad range of experience when it comes to attest services and would love to hear from you concerning your organization’s needs.
My passion is to work in audits and reviews, while simultaneously assisting my clients in becoming more knowledgeable and comfortable with the financials of their business.
a little more about me
I received a BBA in Accounting from Martin Methodist in 2012. I went on to receive a MBA in Accounting from the University of North Alabama in 2014. During this time I worked as an AR specialist with a focus on receivables from large retail stores. Once I received my MBA, I accepted a job with a construction company as their controller. While in this position, I received an offer to become an auditor with a local CPA firm, which had always been a dream of mine. I accepted this position, worked hard to learn the world of auditing and reviews, and decided to chase my dream of becoming a CPA. In 2020, I received my CPA license and in 2022 decided to open my own firm to continue to chase my dreams and serve my community as an auditor.
I was raised on a family farm in the small community of Revilo (In Leoma, TN). I have two sons, Gunner & Boone, who are complete country boys and love the outdoors and being on the farm. In my free time I enjoy reading, fishing, hunting, camping, and riding Rzrs. Myself and Willpenny love to escape to the mountains and ride rzrs with our crew as much as we can, and when we are at home we love to ride in Westpoint with our kids (Gunner, Mayleigh, Boone, & Clayton).
